How to set up a campaign on Drope.me

This is a comprehensive guide on setting up companies on the Drope.me platform. Use it during your own promotional setup and get the maximum benefit from promoting your game with the help of streamers!

Before you start

We suggest you define the following details:

  • What is your game's stage and this campaign's primary goal? 
  • What KPIs and goals does your game marketing plan have? What do you expect to achieve by setting up a performance influencer campaign: boost wishlists, grow sales, or activate players in the game? 
  • How competitive is your target market?

Let’s create your first campaign.

1. Sign in to your account and click the Create button in the top menu on the platform.

2. Select the platform of your game

Then, you will be able to import information about your game. You can find your game on Steam or Roblox by name or game ID.

3. Set the timing of your campaign.

Campaign duration might depend on your needs. Usually, a 14-day campaign is an optimal option.

You can also set up a 1-day campaign, for example, if you’re launching a playtest or event. But in this case, the start time can be no earlier than 3 days — the time needed to onboard streamers. They also need to prepare a promo or add it to their streaming schedule. In all other cases, we take just 1 day for this process.

4. Call to action and budget setup

Now, let’s move to the most exciting part! First, choose the goal of your campaign — this will pre-setup actions. You also can select or change them manually, but this is a good starting point for your campaign.

Campaign with a budget of $4,000 is additionally featured on discovery pages and in Drops on the platform for free, which gives it higher visibility among active users. If you have a smaller campaign, you will be able to buy placement of your campaign in the featured section as well for a published campaign.

6. Set up actions that users need to complete

This is where you can use pre-selected recommended call-to-actions, edit them, or select something else from the actions library. 

Actions on Drope.me is a task that influencers’ community members need to complete. Gaming companies provide tasks and can set the price per compilation and total quantity. Influencer and their community will get a reward only for verified completion.

7. Each action has instructions that you can edit. You can add more details about your game or why users should wishlist or purchase it here. 

You can also edit the price you are willing to pay per action. This can help you to achieve your marketing KPIs. But keep in mind that a price that is too low might describe the interest of influencers in the campaign. And for games that are more complicated for promo, have too narrow a genre, or for more complex tasks, increasing payment from the recommended average makes sense. 

You can also edit the number of total completed actions.

8. Add more actions from the library

Click on the “Add more actions” button to see more options. You have many more options that you can add to your campaign to achieve more specific results.

Be creative, and don’t forget to consider your user funnel when setting up campaign actions. You can be creative and build efficient campaigns even with a small budget.

9. Select criteria for influencers

To simplify the influencer selection process, you can allow all influencers who fit your preferred language of content and games they play automatic access to your campaign. 

Consider that more restrictions mean that fewer influencers will fit your criteria. That might affect the completion of a campaign with a short duration time, high budget, or low prices per action. 

If this is your repeated campaign and you want to find new influencers, you can limit access for those who participated in your campaigns in the last 30 days. Select “Only new streamers” for this option.

10. Provide game keys for accepted influencers

Add each key in the new row. You can also add extra information for influencers, such as instructions about activating the key.

11. Almost ready! Check out that your campaign looks good for publishing.

You can click on the “Edit appearance” button to edit your game's images, descriptions, or tags. For example, if you want to highlight a specific update or feature of the game.

After publishing, you can also preview how influencers or their community members will see your campaign.

Influencers community will need to complete the actions you set up. In turn, they earn points they can use in giveaways (Drops) on the platform. While influencers have to promote those actions among their community and earn cash for completed actions.

12. You will be redirected to the payment page if you need more funds in your account.

Done! Your campaign will soon appear on the discovery page after moderation. We will also send your campaign to relevant streamers from our base.

1. Generate content

Influencers will create and post tailored content on Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, or X to promote your game, helping your game get more awareness and community actions.

Similar to actions for conversions, you will see the total budget selector that helps you set up actions. But you can edit them or add more actions from the library by clicking “Add more actions.”

It’s important to add an extra description of your expectations for streamers. For example, what is necessary to mention in a shout-out or highlight in the promo video.

After you create a promo, the streamer can apply to complete it. But this time, you will need to approve them manually to select only those who fit your brand. 

You will see all applied streamers in your profile.

2. Featured on the platform

You can increase the visibility of your game and campaign by featuring it on the platform. Regular users will see it at the top of the main page and highlight it on other inner pages of the forum. This will attract more streamers to apply and also streamers’ viewers who might visit another campaign first. 

Campaigns with a $4,000+ budget are featured for free.

3. Giveaway for Community

Get extra visibility by investing just game keys that we will use in giveaways for the community. We’re regularly posting giveaways — Drops, on a special page. Users can join giveaways by completing actions in campaigns. Winners are selected randomly.

You can provide keys, and we’ll add extra giveaways with it. It will last a minimum of 7 days or till the end of your active campaign if its duration is longer than 7 days. \
