What kind of Genshin Ipmact merch can be bought at the corner stores?
For this very purpose, our correspondent took a stroll through Akihabara and surveyed the shelves of several shops. But let's start, perhaps, not with the anime district, but with the regular convenience stores such as Seven Eleven and Lawson, which are LITERALLY on every corner. In the former, there are wafers from Bandai Namco, which don't have a particularly distinctive taste, but inside each one, there is an insert with Genshin Impact characters. Of course, each one of them has a different rarity, and you can't help but want to collect them all. Actually, Bandai Namco releases wafer collections for various games and anime, but they really went all out on the Genshin Impact collection cards.
Lawson also wanted to jump on the hype train, and in the summer of 2022, they released a collaboration cookie with Genshin Impact. The box was stunning, the cookies were decent, and there were magnet cards inside for the refrigerator.

Now, let's move on to heavy artillery - the AmiAmi store in Akihabara. It seems to be one of the best options, as the merchandise related to the game does not need to be searched for in different departments and shelves. This time, there was an extraordinary amount of items related to home comfort, such as a mat with Hu Tao's ghost, a set of plates and teapots, and blankets.

Mystery boxes deserve a separate mention - it's a Japanese specialty, and they add everything to them. From keychains and badges to rare series of mini-figures.

You can do it right on the AmiAmi website, and they will deliver it to you practically anywhere in the world. But in general, you can find Genshin figures in almost any store in Akihabara area.
What about the arcade centre GiGO?
Finally, we would like to tell you about our least favorite way of getting Genshin Impact merchandise - arcade machines. It's all official and in collaboration with the developer, and the quality of the prizes is excellent. The only catch is that in order to get such a unique gift, you either have to use the classic claw crane, which betrays you by dropping the toy just a few millimeters before victory, or use the hook to grab and pull the toy in a suspended position. The variety of mechanics in these machines is endless, and we can count at least 10 different ones. The main thing is that the prizes for them are unique collections that are limited by both time and your skill level. They really make an effort to make people want to put in the time and money. For example, the collection of Inazuma heroes in school uniforms is worth mentioning.
And I would like to reassure you in advance that vending machines in Japan are not a scam; skilled individuals may obtain a gift after a few attempts, but if you are encountering them for the first time, you will most likely lose a lot of money, and it would be more advantageous to simply purchase the gift on the secondary market.
